How do I find business leads in South Africa?

Start from your best customers and write down what they have in common: industry, size, area. Then look where those businesses show themselves: referrals, industry associations, government tenders awarded, job adverts, new registrations, news and their own websites. Check each contact detail, rank the businesses by fit, and call the best first. B2B Lead Generation does the research for you and grades every lead A, B or C.

B2B Lead Generation is quoted to your plan: request a quote on its page.

Seven places to look

Where to
find them.

1. Your best customers

List your ten best customers and what they share. That is your ideal customer, and every search after this starts from it.

2. Referrals

Ask happy customers who else they know. A referred lead is the warmest you will get.

3. Associations and chambers

Industry bodies and local business chambers publish member lists, and their events put you in the room.

4. Government tenders awarded

Awarded tenders are published. A business that has just won one is hiring, buying and building capacity.

5. Hiring and news

A business advertising jobs, opening a branch or in the news is growing, and growing businesses buy.

6. Their own websites

The contact page, the team page and the PAIA manual name the people and the details a business publishes about itself.

7. Before you contact them

Under POPIA, email and SMS marketing to people who have not agreed is restricted; a phone call asking permission to send information is the usual first step. Read the POPIA email marketing rules.

questions.

Start from your best customers, then research businesses that look like them: referrals, associations, awarded tenders, hiring and their own websites. Grade them and call the best first.

Collecting what a business publishes is one thing; emailing it for marketing needs consent unless the existing-customer conditions apply. Call first, and check with your own adviser.

No. B2B Lead Generation finds, checks and grades them; your team makes contact.
