Short version: cold business leads, scraped from public sources and researched before your reps pick up the phone.
Exactly what a lead is here
This matters more than anything else on the page, so it goes first. What you receive is a prospect list of cold leads: businesses that match your ideal customer and have not asked to hear from you. Each record carries the business name, area and industry, the phone, the website and an email where the business publishes one, enriched with what we read on its own website, plus a fit grade — deduplicated against everything already delivered to you. Searches run on the schedule you choose.
What you do not receive is a booked meeting. We do not do appointment setting and we never contact anybody on your behalf. This is AI lead generation at the sourcing layer — the sales prospecting research that eats your team's week before a single call is made — and your team runs the conversation.
Where the leads are scraped from
We scrape public sources only. Today that is open map data (OpenStreetMap) for the industries and areas you choose, directory pages you point us to, and your own spreadsheets. For every business we read up to five pages of its own website — home, contact, about, team and careers — plus its PAIA manual, honour its robots.txt and leave at least two seconds between pages.
Nothing is bought from data brokers or leaked lists, and every field keeps the page it came from. More sources switch on later; this page lists only what runs today.
Is cold emailing legal in South Africa?
Careful here, because the internet is full of confident wrong answers. POPIA applies to personal information, and a named person's work email is still personal information — POPIA business contact details are not automatically exempt just because they are business ones. Section 69 restricts unsolicited electronic direct marketing without consent, with a narrow existing-customer exception.
In practice that means: source transparently, keep a defensible record of where each record came from, identify yourself in the first message, and honour an opt out immediately and permanently. Your team runs the outreach, so those duties are yours; we keep the sourcing to public sources. We are not attorneys, this is not legal advice, and anyone telling you that cold email outreach is unregulated in South Africa because it is B2B is guessing.
How the targeting actually works
ICP targeting is the whole game. You define the profile — industries, areas and the kind of business you want — and searches run against it on the schedule you choose. Get this right and a short list of well-matched businesses beats a long one that nobody works.
Every email is put through email verification before delivery — its domain is verified to receive mail, and an address we had to infer is marked as a guess — then lead scoring grades each business for fit so your team works the top of the lead list first. We deduplicate against everything already delivered to you. We never sell lists.
Where it lands, and who it is for
Leads arrive in your dashboard app; export them to CSV, or send them to your own webhook as they land. A direct CRM push to HubSpot or Pipedrive is still being built. Your sales pipeline starts with a call list, not a research task.
This is lead generation for small business in South Africa as much as for big sales floors: firms with a definable B2B buyer that need sales leads and real demand generation without an agency retainer — IT, professional services, manufacturing, logistics, construction. Selling on your own? See B2B Lead Generation for sales reps. Pair it with email campaigns to work the list, or a website chatbot to catch the ones who look you up.
